Our Winter Junior Carnival was a resounding success, with a record total of 103 teams participating and more than 2500 players, officials, parents, supporters, families, and friends coming together to make it a memorable event.
It was an absolute pleasure to welcome Nat Cook MP who opened the Carnival and special guests Erin Thompson MP & Mayor of Onkaparinga Moira Were and our Board members Helen, Alison & Adrian.
It was a joy to see so many people of different backgrounds and ages coming together to enjoy the games, cheer on the teams, and create lasting memories. We are grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of the carnival and look forward to many more years of bringing people together through the love of sports.
Congratulations to Ladybirds Netball Club and their amazing BBQ volunteers who did not stop yesterday!
This year's carnival was particularly special as it marked SUNA's 50th year, adding an extra layer of celebration and nostalgia to the proceedings. The sense of community and camaraderie among all those involved was truly heartwarming, showcasing the spirit of sportsmanship and unity that defines our organisation.
